Dog picks up an object with mouth on cue, without excessive mouthing, dropping, or chewing.
Where it appears in the sport
Foundation for every retrieve behavior. Also for L1 OB Phase 2 Exercise 2.2 (Independent Search & Article Retrieve). Precursor to A-12 (retrieve on flat) and A-13 (retrieve over jump).
