F-25 Scent pad start commitment
Dog engages the tracking scent pad at the start of a track, commits to the scent, and departs in the direction of travel.
Where it appears in the sport
L1 TRK Start Procedure (15 pts). At L1 there is no start flag — the scent pad is the only indicator. Precursor to A-45 (track from scent pad).
